The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Karnataka set Saturday evening as the deadline to resolve the power transfer row with ruling partner Janata Dal-Secular, threatening to call for polls otherwise.
"If it (power transfer) is not resolved by Saturday evening, then we will decide on steps to go to the people for their mandate."
"This is the deadline we have set for ourselves and told our party central leaders," Deputy Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa of the BJP told Kannada TV channels in New Delhi.
