President APJ Abdul Kalam on Wednesday kicked off his three-day official visit to Singapore.

Kalam held wide-ranging talks with the city state President SR Nathan during which bilateral and international issues were understood to have figured.
Later, Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong called on Kalam at the Presidential Palace.
Earlier, Kalam, who arrived Singapore on Tuesday evening leading a high-level delegation, was accorded a ceremonial reception at the Presidential Palace on Wednesday morning.
After the national anthem of the two countries were played, President Kalam, accompanied by Nathan, inspected a guard of honour.
