“The UP Udyog Vyapar Mandal and Bharatiya Udyog Vyapar Mandal has been persistently urging to the Union government for safeguarding the business interest of Indian traders but it has overlooked the request due to foreign pressure.
The same request would be made in a massive rally of Mandal to be held in Laxman Mela goround in Lucknow on April 28,” Kanchchal said.
Talking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Kanchchal said Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, Amar Singh and Shiv Pal Yadav would address lakhs of traders in the rally.
The Vyapar Mandal would demand the UP government not to allow multinationals to set up their multistoried departmental stores in the State and to ban them like VAT. Besides, demand for removal of commercial house tax on traders and Tehbazari tax on panchayat level also be made to the CM in the rally.
Kanchchal has demanded the Union government for raising the limit of cash transaction from Rs 20,000 to one lakh for traders, free medical and education to the family members of income tax payees and insurance of Rs 10 lakh for the income tax and service tax payee trader.
There is much enthusiasm among the traders for attending the rally in a large number.
Women activists of Vyapar Mandal from throughout the State would also participate in the rally. He said a meeting of seven districts of Kashi Kshetra for Vyapar Mandal such as Mirzapur, Sonebhadra, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Ghazipur and Varanasi was held here today to chalk out preparations for the grand success of rally.
