Kanpur University question papers seized on exam day
Uttar Pradesh STF have busted a racket involved in leaking question papers of University of Kanpur with the arrest of five persons from whom it seized blank answersheets and subject papers for which the examinations were held today.

The five were arrested from Allahabad this afternoon with some question papers and blank of BA, B Com and M Com, Additional Director General of Police Brij Lal told reporters.
"The Special Task Force was tipped off that in Allahabad a gang was involved in leaking question papers of under-graduate and post graduate examinations conducted by Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University in Kanpur," Lal said.
The team arrested the five gang members from George Town area this afternoon. They have been identified as Mahendra Pratap Singh, Ajit Singh, Sushil Kumar, Nand Lal Tiwari and Mohd Kasim, he said.
"Three sets of question papers of BA and B Com, a solved copy of M Com and 15 blank answer sheets of the University of Kanpur were recovered from their possession," the ADG said.
He said some question papers recovered from the gang were similar to the ones for which the exams were held today.
"The gang provided question papers and also solved to the examinees at the centres," Lal said.
He said during interrogation, names of some more gang members were revealed and efforts were on to nab them.
