Karuna greets TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao

Recollecting Rao's visits to Chennai in 2004 and the deliberations the DMK leader had with him on Telangana, Karunanidhi said 'ultimately you have achieved your goal.'

DMK president M Karunanidhi on Sunday greeted TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, who will assume office as the first Chief Minister of Telangana on Monday.

"I very heartily congratulate you on your winning majority in elections and assuming office as Chief Minister," Karunandihi said.

Praising Rao, the DMK chief said,"your wise moves and hard and sincere work have always kept you very near to the hearts of people."

"Under your able leadership, I am quite confident that the new Telangana state will enjoy a very peaceful and useful governance."
