Kathua DDC visits Mahanpur, Basholi blocks

He met with the sarpanches of Sheetal Nagri, Mahanpur, Basohli and Dhar-Mahanpur blocks. The DDC said to strengthen the panchyati raj institutions (PRIs) and ensure their participation in planning and development process, it has been made mandatory for block-level officers to convene monthly meetings with panchayat people for capacity building and grievance redressal.

He also inspected the Basohli painting centre and assured an immediate assistance for its revival.
