``The way the facts are coming out in the case, it would be better that an outside and independent agency carry out the investigation. It should be probed by the CBI,’’ said spokesman Abhishek Singhvi.

UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav had earlier ruled out a CBI probe into the case which allegedly involves a sex CD, blackmail and murder and has already lead to the resignation of at least one Minister. The toll of politicians involved in the case is likely to rise.
