Keenan stadium in Jamshedpur hosted its first international ODI back in 1983.

Eight one-dayers have been played here of India has won just one and the visitors have won five; a neutral side winning one match and interestingly one match ending with no result!

It took a few rules of vaastu and swapping of the dressing rooms of the visitors with that of the hosts, for India to register their first victory at the ground.

Whether it was luck or , the Indians managed to break the Keenan jinx, so called because the hosts had never won a match on their five earlier encounters at the stadium.

The eight ODI at the Keenan Stadium was against West Indies in 2002.
