Kerala Governor RS Gavai was today admitted to a hospital here after he complained of uneasiness, officials said.

"81-year-old Gavai was admitted for investigation and observation for general weakness," a bulletin from the Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Sciences said.

His condition is stable and a team of doctors is closely monitoring his health, it said.
