Rahman, also a senior BNP leader, filed defamation suits with Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court against Hasina, Awami League General Secretary Abdul Jalil and Joint General Secretary Obaidul Kader for accusing him of widespread corruption, court sources said.
The court accepted the suit petitions and ordered a judicial inquiry against the three, the sources said.
