Kids Karnival kicks off with fun & games

More than 1,000 children flocked the Food Court on fourth floor to get a picture with Pooch, a cuddly dog and masot of Pizza Hut, in the jungle prepared specially for the event. Mall director Manisha Kalani said that the Food Court has been decorated with Jungle Book theme for the event. Families dressed colourfully arrived for the Karnival and enjoyed the talent show by small children.

Students from Colonel’s Academy (Mhow) and Daly College enjoyed various games, quiz and danced in the Karnival. Every students participating in the event was given prizes like gift vouchers, electronic items or stationery. Teachers accompanying the students also participated in the dance and games. The students were all excited to be in Jungle Book surroundings and even happier to return home with a prize.

Various on-the-spot competitions were also held for the children. These included basketball, rings, darts, one-minute puzzle, trunk toss, Mowgli mix match and pin the tail to Baghira. Dimple conducted the programme. Some of the children fed the animals in cartoon paintings put up at Food Court.

Artist Mahendra Kodwani and his team made paintings of Jungle Book characters to decorate the 1,000 square feet of space according to the theme. The paintings portray the life of Mowgli. The events to be held on Sunday include two magic shows at Food Court.
