"We have informed to the authorities concerned that his (Koda) condition is stable and (he) can be discharged today. We are now waiting for their direction," the Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr P D Sinha said.

The Income Tax and the Enforcement Directorate have asked the hospital authorities to inform them before they release Koda.

Koda got himself admitted to the Abdur Razzak Weavers Memorial Hospital in Ranchi on November 3 after complaining of stomach ache.

He and several of his associates are facing charges of money laundering and illegal investments to the tune of over Rs 2000 crore.
