Kumaran hopeful of India comeback
Dhaka is the place where T Kumaran started earning for his living after the one time India international had a forgettable debut in the Asia Cup in 2000.
The city that saw end of his fledgeling career has given him a chance to begin the second innings in his life.

For, Dhaka is the place where T Kumaran started earning for his living after the one time India international had a forgettable debut in the Asia Cup in 2000.
Kumaran was flogged by Pakistan's Yousuf Youhana, his 10 overs costing 86 runs as India crashed out of the championship without reaching the final.
After the heartbreaking experience, the 28-year-old Tamil Nadu medium pacer has drawn courage to comeback to the same place to rebuild his career all from the scratch.
"I haven't given up hopes," said Kumaran of his chances of returning to the Indian team.
But that maybe a long way away since he has to first get back into the state team of which he has been out for the past couple of years.
"Things were pretty bad sometime ago, but it happens in life," he said.
Kumaran is on a three-month contract with the Brothers Union till February during when he will play 11 one-day matches in the Premier Division tournament.
He is of the opinion that the involvement of the overseas players has helped Bangladesh cricket.
"Talent is there but they don't have the experience. A little bit of exposure like playing alongside the professionals will help," he said.
The infrastructure including the turf wickets needs some improvement, Kumaran said. "They are four stadiums with turf wickets now. They are good but not like in India."
