Railway Minister Lalu Yadav on Thursday described the train burning incidents in Maharashtra as "very unfortunate" saying that it was wrong to damage the nation's property.
"What happened in Kanpur is sad. We respect Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. But damaging trains in protest is a very wrong thing to do," he said.
He urged the concerned state governments to immediately stop such incidents and take stern action against the guilty.
