Citing the example of the proposed railway diesel locomotive project at Madhepura, Prasad said that the Railway minister had earmarked just Rs 10 crore for it.

"Will these funds serve the purpose? Mamata was giving slow poison to these projects as part of a conspiracy," the former Railway minister said addressing a divisional level party workers' meet in Saharsa.

Prasad demanded tabling of the report of the Liberhan Commission on Babri masjid demolition in Parliament and felt once it was made public, it would be clear who were behind the demolition.

He urged the central government to make provision for harsh punishment to the culprits.

On women's Reservation Bill, RJD leader said that this was a conspiracy by the upper castes and affluent people of society to pass the bill in its present form whereas his party wanted 'quota within the quota' for backward classes.

Those who were present in the meet included former Union minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh, Ram Kirpal Yadav and Vidyasagar Nishad.

Addressing the party workers on the occasion of the party's foundation day, Yadav exhorted the workers to be ready for a long struggle.
