The Khajrana police have registered a case against five accused today who are said to be absconding. According to the police, the prime accused Tikku shared a not so cordial relation with his neighbour 38-year old Anand Swami.

The two had heated exchanges several times over small matters including defecation and urination by pet dogs owned by Swami in front of the accused’s house.

It is learnt that Swami had taken a loan of Rs 500 from Tikku about a fortnight back and when asked to return the same had given unsatisfactory replies, which boiled the tem-per of Tikku who already had apprehensions about his neighbour.

Tikku along with his friends from the locality Anthony Peter and Riteish and Sudhir from Bhopal along with one of his friend who is unknown and is suspected to also belong from Bhopal, hatched a plan of killing Swami.

The accused barged into the house of the deceased and stabbed him with knifes in front of his wife Sapna. The accused escaped when the deceased’s mother came down from upstairs on hearing Sapna’s cries.

The police erected roadblocks and started a massive search operation but to no avail. The police believe that the accused fled the City immediately after committing the crime. The police have registered case of murder under Section-307 of the IPC against the five accused and a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits.
