Lennon's fave cafe table goes under hammer
The bidding for the ex-Beatle's favourite table, at New York's Cafe La For-tuna, has reportedly crossed the #27,000 figure.

The table usually used by ‘the Beatles’ vocalist, John Lennon at his favourite restaurant is up for sale on eBay.
Michael Trapani, owner of New York's Cafe La For-tuna, has put the table up for sale on the website.
Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono usually sat at the same table but it was "retired" after the singer was murdered in 1980. Bidding for the table has passed £27,000, reports the Mirror.
