M'rashtra resident docs call off strike

The Maharashtra Association of Resident Doctors (MARD) on Friday night called off their 12-day-old strike after an assurance by the state government to increase their stipend amount by over Rs 4,000, MARD sources said.
MARD President Dr Yoganand Patil said that all the doctors would return to work from Saturday morning.
