Madhya Pradesh: Prajapati's mother unhappy with Amit Shah's acquittal

Tulisram Prajapati's mother said that she is not happy with the CBI's decision of granting a clean chit to national BJP president Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin and Tulsi Prajapati encounter cases.

Tulisram Prajapati's mother said that she is not happy with the CBI's decision of granting a clean chit to national BJP president Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin and Tulsi Prajapati encounter cases.

Talking to the media here on Wednesday, Narmada Prajapati, who stays in Neelganga area, said that she really hopedd that Amit Shah would be held guilty.

Narmada added that she wanted capital punishment, alleging that the rich and powerful have been set free. Narmada lives with her second son who is a labourer in Ujjain. The family belongs to the potter community.

According to CBI, Sohrab-uddin, who had links with the Paikstani LeT, and his wife Kauser Bi were killed near Gandhinagar in November 2005 by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad.

Gujarat police claimed that Sohrabuddin was planning to assassinate important political leaders. Tulsiram Prajapati, sole witness to the encounter, was also killed in December 2006.
