Madonna denies marriage problems with hubby

The diva has claimed that her union with hubby Guy Ritchie are bigger than the petty fights they have.

Laughing off the rumours that her marriage has hit the rocks, pop queen Madonna has claimed that she is still very much married, as her union with hubby Guy Ritchie, and the things they create together, are bigger than the petty fights they have.

"Guy's not a househusband and I'm not a typical wife. So you can imagine, we have our clashes. But I think we always keep our eye on the ball - that is our marriage - the union of us, the things that we create together, are bigger than the petty fights we have," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying.

But, the star has also insisted that she deserves a "pat on the back" for putting up with the British director, as it's not easy to be married when one has a never-ending ambition to fulfil.

"I must admit, I have to pat myself on the back. It's not easy to be married, to have a successful career, to have children, to be with someone who is as strong-willed and ambitious as I am," she added.

The Hung Up superstar set tongues wagging by refusing to wear her wedding ring at the Brit Awards in London this week (15Feb06), and later admitted that their partnership is often less than blissful due to the strain of their busy careers and family life.
