Mahajan Jr case: Sahil Zaroo gets bail

A Delhi court has asked the 21-yr-old Kashmiri youth not to leave Delhi and surrender his passport to the police.

A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to Sahil Zaroo, a co-accused in the Rahul Mahajan drug abuse case.

Granting bail, Special Judge SN Gupta asked Zaroo to furnish a personal bond of Rs two lakh and a surety of like amount.

Gupta also directed 21-year-old Kashmiri youth not to leave Delhi and surrender his passport to the police.

Arrested in Srinagar on June 4, Zaroo was remanded to police custody on June 5. Subsequently, he was put in judicial custody from June 12.

Zaroo is accused of procuring drugs for late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's son Rahul and his aide Vivek Moitra, who died after a late night party on June 1.
