Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan on Monday condoled the death of Bollywood actor Feroz Khan, saying the Hindi film industry has lost a dashing hero and a versatile artiste.

"Khan carved a niche for himself as a hero and then as a producer-director. He was a true entertainer," Chavan said in his condolence message in Mumbai.
