Maintaining intensity for entire game will be vital

It was a hard-fought victory for us against Rajasthan Royals on Friday, and I must admit we made things a little difficult for us. But overall, I was delighted with the way we played the majority of the game. Anil Kumble writes.

I am sure the boys are experienced enough to realise that you need to maîntain the intensity for the entire duration of the game. That’s something they will be mindful of going into the final against Chennai Super Kings.

Though there was a fair bit of rain, thankfully the elements didn’t have any say. I must give credit to Rahul and Rajasthan for the way they fought it out. I congratul-ate them for a very good season under very trying circumstances.

Chennai have been there and done that, so it will be nice to put it past them. This is the third time for me in the final - with different teams and in different capacities - and I am hoping it is third time lucky for me, and second time lucky for Mumbai in the final.
