A major fire breaks out in a five-storey building near the LK Market at Kalbadevi, fire-brigade sources say.

A major fire broke out in a five-storey building near the LK Market at Kalbadevi on Tuesday morning, fire-brigade sources said. No injuries were reported, the sources said, adding the fire broke out at about 8 am.

Eight fire-engines, two ambulances and eight water tankers have been sent to the spot, the official said. The cause of the fire was still not known, the official added.
