Major reshuffle of IAS officers in Andhra

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 22 IAS officers.

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Andhra Pradesh government on Tuesday transferred 22 IAS officers.

VP Jauhari, special chief secretary to the government in the rural water supply, Panchayati Raj and rural development department, was transferred and posted as special chief secretary to the government (PR), Panchayati Raj and rural development department in place of MV PC Sastry, who is now principal secretary in the housing department.

AK Parida is the new Director General of the Dr M C R HRD Institute. Pankaj Dwivedi, who was replaced by Parida, was posted as Principal Secretary (cooperative and agricultural marketing), agriculture and cooperative department.

G Sudhir is the new principal secretary (tourism and culture), youth advancement, tourism and culture department, in place of Chitra Ramachandran, who is now secretary (transport) in the roads and buildings department. She replaced D Lakshmi Parthasaradhi.

Debabrata Kantha, who was awaiting posting, was named the secretary in the minorities welfare department in place of M Chaya Ratan.

Ratan was posted as principal secretary in the women development, child welfare and disabled welfare department.

Vasudha Mishra was posted as secretary (FP) in the finance department while Poonam Malakondaiah was transferred. Malakondaiah was posted as transport commissioner.
