A memorandum with this demand would be submitted to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, state president of the women’s wing of NCP, Babita Verma said at a press conference today.
Verma said that if there were no immediate action in the matter, demonstrations and dharna would follow. Verma said that the law and order situation, particularly violence against women has increased drastically.
She however admitted only agitation couldn’t help the cause, pressure for some positive step also needs to be created.
