Providing respite to the office-goers and commuters in the busy Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg area, the kiosk serves a hugely popular Special Nimbu Soda (Rs 12), Shikanjvi (Rs12) and Masala Cold Drink (Rs 10). The owner, Lal Singh, proudly told us that since 1960, his drinks have been moving fast on the strength of his special masala. The nimbu paani has too much salt, so ask for it to be tempered down. Or try the soda or cold drink spiked with nimbu masala. The masala, says Singh, works wonders for an upset stomach. Pay Rs 30 to get 280 gms of the masala with a guaranteed shelf life of 10 years. It can also be used for salads.
