A man died after falling from a running train in Bajalta area of Jammu today, a police official said.

A man died after falling from a running train in Bajalta area of Jammu today, a police official said.

The victim, identified as Ashok Chawla (61), a resident of Rohtak in Haryana, was on his way to Katra via the Shiv Shakti Express when he fell from the train near Bajalta and died on the spot, he said.

His body has been shifted to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital and a case has been registered by the railway police, he added.
