A HARRIED woman has sought the help of the Union Home Minister, Allahabad SSP and the National Commission for Women in tracing her husband, who, she apprehends, has either been held captive or has been killed.

A resident of 361 Bahadurganj under Kotwali police station, Kahkashan Begum in her complaint to the SSP has said her husband Ismail Khan works as a commission agent at the local office of Brahmputra Finance Service Limited. The company's head office is situated at A-2 Building, third floor, Raja Garden, near fly-over in New Delhi. The company finances business ventures. Ismail's main job was to get the paper formality of loan-seekers completed.
He was not liable to the company for anything else. On July 31, according to Ismail's wife, two officers of the company Amit Kumar Sharma and Shiv Kumar Sharma came to Allahabad and after sanctioning loans of 14 applicants reportedly told Ismail that he had earned a commission of Rs 1.14 lakh which the company would pay to him in Delhi. They also asked Ismail to accompany them to Delhi for getting his commission and holding a discussion with company's manager.
Ismail, who had sensed something fishy about the two men said to be company officials, told his wife that the company would be responsible in case he failed to return home by August 4, or if something happened to him. On August 1, Ismail left for Delhi along with the two company officials.
Next day, he talked to his wife on phone and a day after told her that the said officials appeared in no mood to pay him his dues. After this, Kahkashan received no call from her husband. All efforts made by Kahkashan to contact her husband on her mobile failed. Now, she is fearing the worse.
Besides, Kahkashan has also demanded security for herself as, she says, some people are intimidating her in too in this connection.
