Parashar had run into a nearby gymnasium to save his life, but the assailants chased him there and beat him up with baseball bats and hockey sticks.
The police had taken him to a nearby nursing home, where he died during treatment.

"He died of internal bleeding," said station house officer of Inchauli police station Hans Raj Bhadauria.

Bhadauria said the deceased had complained to the father of the trio Ashwini Sharma, a resident of Ganganagar locality, that his sons had been harassing his daughter. The brothers had then planned the attack.

"We have arrested Ashwini and one of the accused, while the search is on for the other two absconding brothers," said Bhadauria.

(An earlier story mentioned the man as a doctor, which has been changed to medical practitioner)
