Manmohan Singh cheers for India in hockey

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, on the final day of the Commonwealth Games 2010, cheered the Indian team in the Commonwealth Games hockey final against Australia in New Delhi.

The prime minister arrived at the packed Major Dhayan Chand National Stadium at the start of the match and took a seat in the VIP stand along with many hockey greats.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, Home Minister P Chidambaram, Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal and CWG Organising Committee chairman Suresh Kalmadi were also present at the venue.
