Union Finance Minister Jaswant Singh’s son, Captain Manvendra Singh, has said that if the party so wishes, then he is ready to contest the election from the Shiv constituency in Barmer district.

A final decision in this regard will be taken in the next few days, Singh said this during his visit to Jaisalmer recently.

On contesting the parliamentary seat from Jaisalmer-Barmer, Singh said a decision would be taken as per the situation or as per the party’s order. He said the party has distributed tickets to candidates in a planned manner and there was no question of any grievances among workers.

He further said there was no stopping the BJP from forming the government in Rajasthan.
