Writer Andrew Corsello blames tennis legend Pete Sampras' marriage for the end of his career.

According to pagesix.com, Sampras married actress Bridgette Wilson and soon retired. Corsello, in GQ magazine, calls it "the curse of the succubus". The marriage ended a six-year career where he had won numerous Grand Slams.

Corsello also pointed out other notable players who have made the same mistake like Jimmy Connors, Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.
