After the election code of conduct was declared, civic body took charge of Raul’s official vehicle. She said, “I have my private vehicle and it is not possible for me to keep a driver for 24 hours. I will prefer to travel by bus.” Deputy mayor Vinod Ghedia, civic Standing Committee Chairman Ravindra Waikar, and BEST committee chairman Praveen Chheda have handed over their official vehicles to the civic body.

Raul said, “Earlier there were no restrictions about using official vehicle to go to office. I will write a letter to the election department and see their response.”
