He was here to launch the mission-project under the government of India’s national governance plan at the UP Stock Exchange auditorium.
The MCA-21 plan is said to be the country’s largest e-governance initiative taken by the Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA).
Chudhari said that MCA-21 project was the full-scale deployment of the information technology in the shortest possible time, and it would revolutionise the way the country interfaces with the government.
He also said that efforts should be made to educate the real users of this programme so that they might not find difficulties in carrying out their duties and interacting with the office of the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
He asked the RoC to select any 500 companies and train their junior officials who actually completed and filed registration applications for new companies or applied for the renewal of the registration. The training should be imparted to them free of cost.
He also laid stress upon setting up a counselling group comprising RoC, Exchange officials and the corporate to discuss the problems in handling the e-filing of various applications.
He said that at the initial stages, there might be some problems to the users but all these problems could be solved with the passage of time.
Regional director (North Region) of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Rakesh Chandra said that MCA-21 initiative was a flagship programme being implemented by the MCA in association with TCS on a Public Private Partnership Model (PPP).
