The split between Sir Paul McCartney and Heather Mills has been polled the biggest negative vibe of the year 2006.
In the British survey of 2,498 people by Rainer PR that was conducted for public relation highlights and lowlights, the second place for the lowlight category went to Madonna’s adoption of Malawian child David Banda.
The Think Pink breast cancer awareness campaign was rated the one which created the most positive impression in 2006.
"Think Pink has been incredibly successful by tackling a difficult issue in a pragmatic way and humanising the impact of cancer for patients, relatives and friends," the Daily Snack quoted Stephen Waddington, managing director of Rainier PR, as saying.
The second most victorious promotion was for YouTube, the popular free video-sharing website which attracted 15% of the people questioned.
