The meeting of the standing committee on security held in Ayodhya discussed security arrangements and the threat perception, official sources said.

They expressed satisfaction over the arrangements, sources said. The standing committee meets periodically to review the situation.

Those who attended the meeting include Joint Director, Intelligence Buro, Alok Joshi, Additional Director General (security) RK Tiwari, CRPF Inspector General Karamveer Singh, and IG, Lucknow, KK Gupta.

Besides, Faizabad District Magistrate Amod Kumar and Officiating Commissioner Prashant Kumar also participated in the meeting.
