Milad-un-Nabi procession to be taken out on April 11
A PROCESSION will be taken out on the occasion of Id Milad-un-Nabi in the State capital on April 11. The traditional procession will start from Maulana Imran Khan Chowk at Mangalwara and would pass through various routes to culminate at Peer Gate.

Apart from boys and youths riding camels and horses, the ‘akhadas’ will be a special attraction of the procession. The participants will also make a pledge for donation of eye after the procession.
The representatives of various religious communities including Giani Dilip Singh, Naresh Rao Jadhav will be present. Apart from Industries Minister Babulal Gaur, BMC chairman Ramdayal Prajapati and MLA Umashankar Gupta prominent citizens will be present.
The MP Muslim Tehwar Committee’s Chairman Hifz-ur-Rahman said the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad will be observed on April 11 and the procession will be taken out to mark the occasion. Hifzur Rahman said celebrations would continue till April 30 as part of which food would be distributed at orphanages, ‘langars’ will be held and religious programmes organised.
