Militants hurled a grenade at an electronic shop in Imphal West district of Manipur but it failed to explode, police sources said on Monday.

Militants hurled a grenade at an electronic shop in Imphal West district of Manipur but it failed to explode, police sources said on Monday.
The militants, whose identity was not clear, lobbed the explosive at 'Arun Group of Electronic Communication' on Sunday but fortunately it did not go off.
The grenade was later defused by bomb disposal squad of state police.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility but police believed that it could be handiwork of some militants who demanded money from the shop owner.
