Minha crowned Miss Nutan

MINHA DURRANI was adjudged ?Miss Nutan? at Paripurna-2006 contest held in Sarojani Naidu Girls College today under ongoing annual function of the college. Sharmishtha Nagal and Dipti Tiwari were first and second runners up respectively.

MINHA DURRANI was adjudged ‘Miss Nutan’ at Paripurna-2006 contest held in Sarojani Naidu Girls College today under ongoing annual function of the college. Sharmishtha Nagal and Dipti Tiwari were first and second runners up respectively.

It was an occasion with a difference. Only those aspirants were allowed to participate in the contest who have been consistently good in academic performance and regular in classes. Intellect and personality development of contestants were sought to be assessed through the contest, said principal Dr Shashi Rai.

Prize distribution function was also organised in the college today. Principal Dr Rai and president of Peoples’ Participation Committee of the college Archana Saxena distributed prizes among the students for excellent performance in different fields.

Shifa Khan, who topped in her class right from B Sc first year to M Sc final, was awarded for academic excellence. She received a shield a cash prize from Archana Saxena.
