Upon receiving information Collector Hariranjan Rao and Superintendent of Police Vedprakash Sharma reached the hospital and controlled the situation. Relatives of the deceased charged that senior doctors of the hospital did not reach in time and that the patient died by the time they reached. Doctors on the other hand said that they had been attacked without any reasons.

Earlier in an accident involving a car, a motorbike and a trailer at a tri-square, Yogendra Singh and Nagendra Mishra died on the spot while Amit Mishra sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

His relatives said the doctors reached hospital after about by an hour and by that time Amit had already died. Doctors however said there was no delay on their part, which led to an argument between both the groups and the relatives later manhandled doctors.

Collector Rao talking to media persons said that there was no need of any magisterial inquiry. However, a normal inquiry into the incident will be conducted, he added.
