Brajesh Mishra, who was National Security Adviser in the Vajpayee government, on Thursday brushed aside allegations by the then Law Minister Ram Jethmalani that he was responsible for the Kandhar fiasco.
"I never comment on outbursts by Jethmalani," he said when asked about Jethmalani's remarks made in an interview to Outlook magazine.
Accusing Mishra of "incompetence", Jethmalani said he had asked Vajpayee to remove him for "not doing anything" to stop the Indian Airlines plane which was hijacked while flying from Kathmandu to Delhi and stopped at Amritsar.
