The horde of Samajwadi Party activists not only created disturbance on the Shatabdi Express but also misbehaved with passengers on board in North-East Express and Jodhpur-Howrah train.

Reaching platform number 1 at its scheduled arrival time, as soon as Shatabdi Express halted at the platform, a large number of Samajwadi Party men forcibly entered coach no. 8, 9 and 10 and occupied berths reserved for passengers boarding the train from Kanpur.

To oust the SP men, the GRP and RPF personnel had a tough time.
Earlier, on Platform no 1, passengers had a tough time dealing with them. There were incidents of misbehaviour and passengers beaten up, too.

The SP men didn’t stop there. After Shatabdi Express, the N-E Express arrived and again they entered the reserved compartment of the train and beat up a passengers travelling in the sleeper coach.

Later, passengers of Jodhpur-Howrah Express too had a tough time saving their berths. Earlier in the day, Samajwadi Party members led by national level office-bearer of the youth wing Jeetendra Bahadur thrashed the driver of a chartered bus when he asked them for money for fuel.
