Moderate quake jolts Japanese island chain

The tremor occurred at 14:18 IST with its epicentre 150 kilometers south of Tokyo and 20 kilometers under the Pacific.

A moderate quake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook the Izu island chain south of Tokyo on Sunday, the Meteorological Agency said, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
