A moderate quake hit Afghanistan on Monday afternoon.
The earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 3:35 pm, Indian Meteorological Department said.
Its epicentre was in the Hindu Kush mountains in Northern Afghanistan.
