Modi arrived at Bhojshala alongwith a group of supporters and security personnel, stood quietly for a minute and offered prayers at a place where one of the statues of Goddess Saraswati, now in a London Museum, was believed to have been established.

Bhojshala is open to Hindus for praying on Tuesdays under the directive of the Archaeological Survey of India.
