Money for phone bills, beauty parlour

WHILE SOME said they needed the money for treatment of their parents, some others said the allowance money would come handy in paying their mobile phone and beauty parlour bills.

A large number of youths admitted they had never applied for a job in a company. Pradip, who flaunted a gold chain and a cell phone, said, “Five hundred would not provide much relief but can suffice in paying up my cell phone bill.”

Rubi of Barabanki said the amount was sufficient for stamp and stationery cost for sending applications and that she would use this amount for same.

Ramesh Kumar Verma, who came from Bachrawan in Rae Bareli said, “Now I will spend Rs 300 on my mobile phone and Rs 200 on pan masala and cigarettes.” He has a farm in Bachrawan.

Pratima Mishra from Hardoi said, “Now I can visit the beauty parlour twice a month without borrowing money from my mother.”

Himanshu Srivastava who came all the way from Sitapur to get the allowance from the CM said, “I am happy to receive it. I will use this allowance to fill forms for various posts.”
