It seems that walking the ramp for some of the world’s best designers, and gracing the advertisement campaigns of the planet’s leading fashion labels is not enough for supermodel Kate Moss, for she is now getting set to try her hand at designing as well.

A source close to the British supermodel revealed that Kate Moss was getting set to test her inside know-how about the fashion industry when she designs clothes ready for chain Topshop early next year.

“She knows all the tricks of the trade and can put that knowledge to use,” The Mirror quoted the source, who claims to be her close friend as saying.

A Topshop insider also revealed that getting the model to sign the $1 dollar deal had been a “real coup” for the store, for it was guaranteed to see a raise in its sales thanks to her.

“Getting Kate is a real coup. When she is pictured with a new bag or sunglasses, the world follows,” the source added.
