Despite getting only limited time to prepare the wicket for the third and final Test between India and Sri Lanka from December 18, the curator of the Motera stadium Dheeraj Parsanna expects the wicket to behave well and offer bounce during the early part of the match.

"I had started the preparation five days ago. This is the same pitch where the Duleep Trophy final was held (mid-November) but the time given has been enough to get it to shape", Parsanna told reporters here on Friday.
The former Test all-rounder denied reports that the wicket may be slightly under-prepared considering the lack of time to prepare it.
Ahmedabad was alloted the tie on December 4 by the Cricket Board after the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association declared its inability to hold the match at Kanpur.
"How can you even say that the wicket is underprepared. Now a days it needs only 10 days to prepare a pitch," the curator said.
Parsanna felt at this time of the year the new ball bowlers will have some advantage at least in the first session of play on the first three days.
