Mother of 5 kills husband. Held with beau

The wife of a landlord, murdered a few days ago, turned out to be her husband’s killer, police said on Saturday.

The wife of a landlord, murdered a few days ago, turned out to be her husband’s killer, police said on Saturday.

Kartar Singh (37), a resident of New Baselwa colony, was found lying dead in his room after he was attacked with knives two days ago. Singh had 16 tenants, out of which police picked up 12 for questioning.

On Sunday, police revealed that Singh’s wife Anita was involved in the murder. Anita, the mother of five children, police said, had eloped with Rashid, a tenant. Rashid hails from Rampur in Uttar Pradesh.

“Both have been arrested and have confessed to the crime,” SHO Old Faridabad Police station Ram Chand said.
